Hi everyone. First of all, I'd like to wish a warm and overdue welcome to my newest reader,
ggmeetstennant. I'm pretty sure she found me through the Doctor Who boards and she seems very interesting so I'm glad to have her abourd. BTW, she's fairly new to the whole LJ thing so anyone who wants to friend her really should consider it.
Now for the updates. I scheduled my biopsy yesterday. I go in at 12:30 on Monday the 21st. I promise to update everyone on what we learn. Also, I'd like to thank everyone for their warm wishes and hugs. Just to let you know, I'm doing just fine. I'm not worried and feel that even if the worst case scenario hits we can remove everything and I'll be fine with little or no problems afterwards. Still, it's nice to know that you all care.
Well, since I'm taking off Thursday & Friday for GenCon (sparse updates then & the weekend but I promise I will update if possible), I worked late yesterday. Of course,
beldar's taking off a whole week for the con so he had to work very late to get things set up for it. So while he was out, I watched some stuff from the DVR.
One thing I saw was the movie, "
The Woodsman". OMG! Kevin Bacon is an amazing actor. He was fantastic in this film and his performance is definately worth seeing it for. Of course, it's dark and dreary but still, it's wonderfully acted and a great film.
Oh yeah, I had to train the LC's this morning regarding my job and how they can assist me in the field. I was terrified but I seemed to do OK.
Well, I guess that's it for now.
More tomorrow.
TTFN!
