A couple of new things.

This month has been pretty cool, I suppose. Seeing Kenzi is great as always, and we've been doing plenty of Rock Band nearly every weekend. There's also a retreat to the snow coming up next weekend and I just can't wait for that! But onto specifics.

That new stuff at work is getting pretty real. For a couple of weeks I was just in testing, doing hypothetical stuff, but recently all of my insurance claims became the real thing. All of the data I process gets uploaded to the customers at the end of the day, so I've really been focusing. Until now its just been like, the big guys give us a small amount of these insurance claims to work on, but mostly I was still doing the same old scrub level stuff. Now, though, the important stuff takes up most of my shift, and starting tomorrow I work new hours, coming in at 9:30 AM and leaving at 6:00 PM, which is going to be so much nicer than 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. I actually get to sleep a decent amount and still get a good chunk of the evening to myself! I'm very excited though, to work on the Data Lift team full time, and pretty soon I'll get my own desk and office in the brand new building. Hope all goes well there.

The other recent change is that Frank and I managed to stumble across a new roommate for the third bedroom and he'll be here until the summer, before maybe Kenzi or Lane might come and take the room. His name is Phil and he's an all around good guy. Very polite, and while he's a pretty big sports fan, he's actually more into video games and Science Fiction. He'll probably be here when we do our gatherings and whatnot, but I can already tell he'll fit in just fine, since he's the type who doesn't really make things awkward at all. He works in a warehouse across the street from my building, which is cool. Also, he used to go to the elementary school that Kenzi's dad used to be the principal of, which was a really crazy coincidence. I guess Kenzi's dad and Phil's parents were acquainted from back then, so they totally remember one another. Weird stuff!

So that's really it. Not much new stuff, but I did say I was going to post more, so whatever.

Oh, right, Kenzi and I went to The Olive Garden for dinner today. That's pretty big news, because it was insanely delicious and the service was excellent. Just an all around good dinner experience...we weren't even hassled about wine as much as I thought we would be! It was ribs.
