Another Apocalypse, this is the hell-mouth people. I sighed as I read my emails, if only some of my online friends were closer. Very few techno-pagans out there, and here in this town, danger at dusk, as I liked to call it, I was feeling far from home.
Most of my boxes were unpacked, save the few one always leaves for last. I hated unpacking, between that and school, I remained tired.
I flirted some with the gym teacher, tall, dark incredibly good looking, but a typical jock, not that all jocks are dumb as dirt, but this one seemed to be. At times I didn’t like the way he would undress me with his eyes.
Weaving down the now quiet halls, I made my way to work on the computer in the library, to make sure the new librarian had everything he needed for his job.
He certainly was the talk of the school, why would someone who had been head of the British Museum come to Sunnydale? I was pretty sure the rumors of his porno career were greatly exaggerated, but it still made me smile.
Wouldn’t it be great if he were hot? I certainly need something exciting around here, but I don’t know, it felt as if nothing in my life would work out.
I was beginning to hate Sunnydale.
I loved walking the halls alone late at night, so much easier to get ones work done. Quietly, I unlocked the library door, and entered. The dull light of the Exit lights, guided my way. For some reason I felt better in the darkness.
Clicking on the button the computer screen gave that electric buzz, static mounting on the screen, my reflection disappearing as the computer became alive.
