God! I bloody hate the Parisian pelochs!

I entered the into the journal on this 8th day of October 1996, that she had expertly handled the vamps in the Beauclaire cemetarie off of the rue de champagne, but that was before the second wave came at her.

There were bloody three of them! Paris was a hotspot for vampires, not as hot as London or Prague, but still cluttered in terms of vampiric activity, but three of them together?

That did not bode well. That meant that we would have to stay here in bloody awful Paris for an extended period of time!

I snuck over, ready to get into the fight, but was somehow paralyzed by the sight of three attacking vampires, their fangs dawned at once.

I hid behind a tree, my chronicles in hand, taking notes on her moves, her ability. She was a natural. She adapted to the training quickly, despite being unsure of herself when we had first met two years ago. She studied the lore with speed and interest, and was soon ready for anything in the field, or cemetaries as it were.

But three at once? We hadn't seen this level of activity. Vampires tended to be creatures that were out for their own needs and didn't want to share a kill. I had read all of the lore ever recorded on any vampire, and sure, there were male and female vampires that partnered themselves to each other, but they were usually only in twosomes, and this ragged looking trio of hideous, malevolent creatures didn't seem to be a bunch that would share crypts.

I fumbled through my sack for a vial of holy water, and stepped out from behind the tree, only to be smiled at by one of the three, that wasn't engaged in the battle with Corinna.

He came at me with lightning quickness, and had me on the ground before I could even react, only the opened bottle of holy water was in my hands, and with a slight flench of my wrist, I had the monster writhing on the ground, the baciny smell of burning flesh filling the air.

While he was on the ground, I again fumbled through my sack, grabbed a big, carved stake and plunged it into the vampires heart. Dust filled my nostrils and spread all around me. I looked over to see my slayer, Corinna childs in a precarious position with the other two.

I guess it was time for me, like I just had, to be more then a watcher.
