I know what you mean-- I've been obsessively spinning with the new spindle. I learned how to Navajo ply on the fly yesterday! Must. Keep. Going.

This blog post from Rosemary Knits was my main source for Navajo plying on the fly with a drop spindle.

This YouTube clip from Rexenne was also really useful. She's just breaking down how to do regular Navajo plying on a spinning wheel, but it was really helpful for figuring out how Navajo plying works. (She replays the video in slow motion, with helpful arrows and stuff to show you what's going on.)
