the last month
I sit in front of the computer and realize that time some how can go by sooo fast. I has been a month since I last wrote. I wonder if anyone even noticed. Anyways, life goes on.
We finally got all moved (thank God). I really am more happy here that I first thought I would be. We have gotten a lot of good comments on it. It is really different then out old apartment. Matt’s pic is finally hung on the wall (the one he took, that I always liked). We got a new couch as well. I am making chris draw a pic for me, and I will paint it when it is done. it will be on the main wall, and is the “theme” for the living room. The second bedroom has close to nothing in it, yet, as it will be the baby’s room. Anyways all will have to come see it next time they are in town, or if they life here already.
We took my dad and chris’ dad out to Outback for Father’s Day. I tell you, the older men get the more horrible they are. Spending an hour with two old dirt men like those two within a three feet space, I was glad it only came once a year. I think I stayed red in the face most of the time. It was funny, we all road together in the same car. We when to pick up Albert, and my dad said, “man I didn’t know you lived this close, I will have to bring a girl or two over sometime. No better make it one, as old as we are now we could only take on one between the two of us.” and Albert was like “I know that’s right”
For those of you that remembered, my birthday was already I guess. I just seemed so much like any other day. I worked that day, and although Amanda tried really hard, she got me a cake, but with out my name on it, and she nor chris got me anything for my birthday at all. Chris did take me out to night to dinner, since we were off together so that make up for it. I did get the Happy Birthday song sung to me by my grandmother. And my best friend did call too. And my dad cooked me some cow tongue. So I guess I cant really complain that much.
I also just found out that one of our friend for work that we hang out with all the time is pregnant too. She and her boyfriend plan to get married soon. So I wouldn’t be all alone, being married and pregnant. I got to hear the heart beat on Tuesday. We are getting really excited. Hopefully we can find out was it is soon.
