(no subject)
Just saw Sweeney Todd, it's purty good. I was kind of dreading the throat-cutting bits at first, but they were so fake that I just cracked up. Although, from a stupid theatre-kid point of view, I would have directed the "A Little Priest" much differently. That fact alone made me feel really nerdy. :P
Omg Alex wants to make "Green Finch and Linnet Bird" into a heavy metal song. I think that's a great idea.
But yeah.
OK AND we went to Medieval Times today for Alexis's birthday 8D It was soooooooo much fun. There were tons of cute trumpet boys/knights. Our knight wasn't that hot at first but he grew on me after a while. And so they like, had little competitions and afterwards they threw flowers into the crowd (according to color) and the first time he came around Alexis and I stood up and he threw one and Alexis caught it. The second time he came around I stood up and I saw him look at me apologetically as he threw the flower to someone else further down the section. I figured he'd look bad if he threw it in generally the same spot for the second time in a row. So whatever. x3 It was still fun. They were like, "Happy 18th birthday Alexis!" as she raised her goblet of beer (she's actually 22, but our waiter decided to mess with us. He was awesome. We tipped him big. Alexis was soooo silly-drunk. x3)
But ARGH. GODDAMNIT the whole thing made me want a boyfriend. Like really bad. I was so happy being single and now this. D8
Aw well. I'll get over it.
AND SCOTCH IS NASTY. JUST SAYIN'.
