Dude, Erica and I just went to Gallery Night. We walked all over the Third Ward (and slightly north) looking at galleries. It was awesome. We saw some cool stuff. We also saw some crappy stuff. And we semi-froze to death. But it was cool nonetheless.
And OK we stopped in this gallery and the lady was like, "yeah, we have an internship here" and I was like, "really...", so I'm totally going to call them tomorrow and see if they can maybe hook me up with that. It sounds like it'll be Thursday and Friday afternoons and maybe one day on the weekend, which I could totally possibly do. Hopefully I'll be the first (if not one of the only) one inquiring about it, since not a whole lot of MIAD kids went to Gallery Night. And maybe if I call really early... yeah...
So yeah. Here's hoping! An internship at an art gallery would be like, the best thing ever.
I have to start on my 6hr drawing tomorrow. Dang. I mean, it'll be fine once I'm actually drawing it but starting it is the problem. :| Aw well. It'll be OK.
