Ray woke up slowly, surprised at the warmth in front of him. Horatio was usually the first one up, was usually the one who had to physically drag Ray out of bed, but not this morning.

...Except it wasn't even Horatio, it was Fraser, and Ray realized that a little belatedly, after he'd casually rubbed up against Fraser's ass. Oops?

Horatio awoke with his nose against Fraser's throat. He knew instantly that this was perhaps an overstepping of boundaries, but in his defense, he'd been asleep at the time. Now he could remove it, or feign sleep and innocence. It's worked with Captain Sawyer, after all. For all of three days.

Fraser is more than a little startled by Ray's idea of a wake up call, his eyes snapping open in shock as he stares ahead at the top of the still-sleeping Horatio's head. "Ah... Ray?" he asks quietly, more than a little confused.

That isn't to say it's not a somewhat pleasant situation. It's a fine situation to wake up in. It's simply... unexpected. New.

"Yo, Fraser," Ray said in the middle of a yawn and against the back of Fraser's neck, figuring it wasn't a big deal as long as he didn't continue the humping. Which he didn't. For now.

Horatio's eyes popped open at the particular timbre of Ray's voice. It seemed he wasn't the only one feigning innocence this morning. Carefully, he began to extricate himself from Fraser's side, already mourning the loss of comfortable warmth.
