MY COLLEGE CAN BEAT UP YOUR COLLEGE

So my orientation was completely amazing. All the counselors were really cool, and there's so much spirit on campus that it was a ton of fun. I learned a bunch of cheers, and kind of know my way around campus now too. The only scary part was when the realization finally hit me about how I won't have anyone out there. I forgot how comfortable I am w/my safety net of friends here, so trying to talk to people and make a whole new set of friends in an already unfamiliar environment was pretty scary. I'm both nervous and incredibly excited to go. I don't want to leave my friends and realized how little time I have left with them, which was sad, but then I also realized how many amazing new people I have to meet too. Getting my school ID and registering for classes really made me feel like I was transitioning, and I'm still not sure how I feel about it, but whatever, we'll see how things turn out.......Oh, and at the end of orientation, the Cal band and rally team marched into the lecture hall and played the fight song, and then the Time Warp which all the counselors and some students danced to. That's when you know you win.
