Short_Notice

I'm awfully sorry about the incredibly short notice about B-Dubbs on Saturday. I had wished there had been some forwarning, especially for me. If I had it my way, ya'll would have been informed a month in advance with weekly reminders. I gave my mom the information what I wanted to do months in advance, with a tiny reminder here and there. But the day before Saturday, my mom calls me up and asks what I wanted to do; then adamantly said we had to do it the following day, Saturday, or bust. Not Sunday, not Monday, not Tuesday: Saturday! Great, fine. I called up Andrew Mehlt and invited him. I talked to some peoples on AIM, only to find out everybody either A: Wasn't there to talk B: Had something planned. C: Looked like they were there, no away message, but never responded. I extended a few invites, trying the best that I could with such short time, and got natta.
The next day, I called Andrew, and he was unable to make it. That's fine, he had to clean his apartment. My mother, Don and I went anyway to B-Dubs. Service was ssssslooooow. The drinks took 10 minutes to get back to us. There wasn't even a crowd. The booth room was empty spare for us, and the sports room had a handful of football enthusiasts. The busboys were paying attention to the game and taking care of them. Despite the upset, the food was awesome, spicy, and jolly. We got there about 3, and left about 4:30. [shrug] Next time.
So what's the lesson: Plan Ahead, even if you think its handled. Handle it yourself. Next time, things = different.

Also, Birthday wishes go out to Chris Jung.
