man, i swear OKKERVIL RIVER always put on such an awesome show. midway through the show (thursday night at tt's) josh reminded me how the first time we saw them was like, 2 summers ago or something -- back in portland at space. wasn't that a seated show too (?!) it's so hard to think about sitting down for one of their shows now seeing how i had such a hard time just standing still the other night.
anyways, last nights show was just about as good as their last one in may. they played basically everything i could've asked for, including kansas city and come back i am waiting and the best songs of the night (in my opinion) the the latest toughs & westfall & okkervil river song. also: minus story (per matt's claim) were pretty good & the two hours of okkervil went by so fast & lastly, it was so nice to see a bunch of people i knew and/or loved, soooo yeah.
