Waiting....

On Sunday, my family was informed that my grandfather's Lymphoma had degraded to the point that the doctors could not safely proceed with Kemotherapy without killing him. Sometime early today, my grandfather lost the ability to swallow and was taken off all IV treatment. As of now, it's only a matter of hours and I'm waiting for the call. The good news: he's on morphine and in a near-comatose state, so the remaining time will be peaceful for him.

I'll miss you, papa.
