The past month has been extremely stressful.
On the money front, I am managing. Barely. Unplanned for expences keep coming up, though. Car, vet, house hold things. I am barely keeping it together. Christine is awesome to me, though, and I really appreciate it.
Last night Kitty had diarrhea again, only this time there was tons of mucous too. She was still bounding around the house, though. We'll see how she is tonight and I might take her to the vet tomorrow if she declines.
Tomorrow is my personal interview at the humane society. I'm looking forward to doing something worthwhile in my spare time.
I ordered all the supplies for my jewelery making venture today. Gemstones, beads, and all other essentials. My momma is backing the initial purchase, and I am paying her back next year. It's not a massive amount of money, so I can justify it if I suck, and it ends up being a hobby. When I have some pieces done, I'll post pictures here. I encourage everyone to buy my products. I will also take custom requests.
Expensive custom requests will require money down (ie: any jewelry containing sapphires, rubies, or emeralds). Everything else is relatively reasonably priced. Though peridot, citrine and iolite can get up there. I love peridot. It's lovely. I think one of my first peices will be an iolite/citrine combo. Or an iolite/preidot combo. I think the citrine would contrast nicely though.
I found some nice cast rings for loose gemstones, but I feel cheap taking a premade ring and setting stones into it, and then calling it my own. I may do one or two, or if someone wants a specific stone combination on a classic ring style, I'll do it. Maybe I'll make a couple for myself while I'm at it.
I just want it to be the weekend.
