Timelines, Rita, and who the hell is Aunt Shadie? Making sense of Unnatural & Accidental.
Also known as: a big mess of my thoughts jumbled up on the page, adding up to 2800 words.
Spoilery, of course.

@timelines: i suppose that all the girls have already been dead when rebecca starts searching for her mother. well, at least according to the newspaper articles. but it was still confusing because rebecca interacted with all the victims. made me think if all the victims are just picturing the aboriginal women in general. so maybe that's why the film maker put them in those scenes as well, because they all represent the same group??
@the end: that's what i didn't like. why didn't she call the police afterwards? i don't know how it ended in the original play, but there was no real conclusion, except the obvious very weird victims/forest/.. shot. now all the girls are dead and the murderer is too but no one except rebecca knows that. ok, maybe the girls can lbe happy in their afterlife now but doesn't the public need to know? because everyone is still thinking that the women died because of alcohol and no one cared because prostitutes + alcohol. was extremely weird, as was the whole movie. still don't know what to make out of it, really.
