OMG, slidellra! This is an awesome post. All of it, really.Your short write-up about the movie in the beginning, what you found out about the actors, your quote and scene selection, everything. (And there is a 'coma rape' keyword at IMDB? O.O) And it totally made NO money, no money at ALL and I kind of get that.
I especially love your thoughts on the movie in the end. It's all... I can just nod and nod and I think I actually said "OMG YES" at some point. Out loud. Because it's so true, it's frustrating and timelines that don't make sense and wtf Carmen Moore. But the other actors are awesome, and Callum is awesome and oh so scary, and yes. You can't just dismiss it.
(And omg, you did the transcript of NotG yourself.)
So, yes, like I said, I am in love with that post. Honest, I even love the coding. It's flawless.
Oh, oh, oh, and 'Norman telling Blue Girl a story about a fawn (weird mirroring of For Those Who Hunt the Wounded Down)'? True. I remember thinking that when I heard it for the first (and only) time (Sorry, Callum. Sorry, Carl), but then forgot about it.
Er, and I am going to add tags for 'unnatural & accidental' and 'carl bessai' and ... hm. Anything else you need?
Whew! I was getting worried I was giving away too much, but it's not a film you can talk about coyly, you know?
I definitely made the big bug eyes at the 'coma rape' keyword. NOT EXPECTED.
And I've got all these jumbled up thoughts and my poor half-written, re-written essay to post, but today is not turning out to be the day. Soon, though. Because this movie is Eating My Brain.
(Those tags seems good, thanks. I...am failing to think of necessary others as opposed to tasteless and wrong others.)
(That scene is JUST like FTWHtWD. So very like, and I think once I get over my fit of "You leave my Jerry alone!" I might have thoughts on that. You leave my Jerry ALONE!)
Big hearts right back atcha, c. For the comm and the help and, you know, in general. ♥
I definitely recommend the "making of" feature - Callum basically explains about how he freaked himself out with this part, and yeah, I'm not surprised.
I only watched the film once thinking it wouldn't be that bad - I can handle Suspicious River no problem, after all. Well, U&A sort of left me rocking back and forth clutching my knees quite pathetically, and not wanting to watch Callum like this ever again. So I agree, Callum did a fantastic job with the role. Kudos to him!
AND to you for putting this great post together! :)

And you included my favorite quote re: Callum and Norman
Carmen Moore: Watching Callum... go from being Callum to Norman? Is terrifying.

Isn't that a great quote? Man. c_regalis helped. Just a little.
