Hee! Yeah, the romance didn't work for me. Callum veered between paternal protectiveness and "interest." Weird. Naturally I would have much rather he ended up hooking up with the queer best friend (who, let it be noted, thinks he's cute). ;-)
Y'know, I was briefly tempted to try a Craig/Keegan fic, or possibly a crossover - at any rate, make an attempt at writing an actual personality for Det. Keegan - but either of these would have necessitated repeated watching of the movie, and even as yummy as Callum is, I just don't think I could handle the head(desk) trauma. :P
Perhaps some day when I'm feeling particularly brave, and I've got lots of down time, so I can kind of hang around drinking gallons of hot chocolate and whimpering a lot.
And possibly get just this side of hammered. I believe that would be key. Heh.
Spiked hot chocolate, that's the ticket! (Well, that and liberal use of Fast Forward.) I would be happy to send you cinnamon schnapps, grand marnier, or inebriant of your choice. *enables* :D
Oh. Please? I could help - rewatching myself, I mean, to provide you with the details you need. Have done it enough for this post that I must be immunized I guess. I can cope with the head(desk) trauma *hopes*. There may be things like one too much though?
So, after repeated viewings - possibly under the influence of alcohol - I could maybe train myself to just ignore Timothy Bottoms savaging the scenery? *snicker*
Still, goodguy!Callum, and pretty!
