I love the City Trilogy (or, at least, the first book, which is the only one I've read so far). I probably wouldn't have guessed that it was the same writer if I hadn't known in advance, though. Definitely a big departure from his usual stories.

No idea about the DVD yet, I'm afraid. Soon, hopefully!

I just finished the second one and I think the third is due out around March or something - the second one was really good, especially if you liked Paucar Wami from the first one.

I'm getting it for Christmas - in theory, anyway XD - so hopefully I'll have caught up soon. Does it feature much of Capac? (I'm torn between thinking his story was well wrapped up and wanting to find out what happened after wards. Prequels can be very interesting, too, though.)

Actually it's narrated by another character, Al Jeery, but he's AWESOME. It mentions Capac in places but he's hardly seen. I have a feeling that we'll see more of him in the third one.
I e-mailed Darren to ask him if theres a plot synopsis floating around for the third book and who's story it will be following and he replied -

' I'll add one a bit closer to the release date -- but most of it is told from the point of view of Al, though Capac also narrates certain key sections. It's set 10 years after the first two. And Paucar Wami will be back!!!! How?!? You'll find out in March!!!! '

That sounds fantastic to me. There are very few of Darren's characters that I don't like, and I never have problems with his narrators!

Ooh, exciting ^_^

I know - I can't wait. Sad itll be over though.

But I'm most looking forward to the new Cirque-Du-Freak spin-off - the Larten Crepsley saga

Oh, definitely. I'll read anything Darren writes, and I'll enjoy it, but I'm more excited about that series than I have been about any books for a while.
