when you're so overcome with giggles you have to post on livejournal...
so i paused my harry potter book (the chamber of secrets) on tape to do something, and then a couple of hours later returned for more read-to-me goodness. when i hit play the following was read:
"Instead, he [harry] contented himself with scrawling a note to Ron: Lets do it tonight.
Ron looked at the message, swallowed hard, and looked hard at the empty seat usually filled by Hermione. The sight seemed to stiffen his resolve, and he nodded." ::tape ends::
::snorts:: brilliant. new icon to celebrate this discovery. which by the way has a fucking Harry and the Potters! lyric on it! VOLDEMORT CAN'T STOP THE ROCK!
