In my opinion, reducing Russia only to Ivan Karamazov, only to Russian intelligentsia; is not exact. Russia is all the four brothers with the Emperor, Theodore Karamazov as head of the family. On the other hand, Dostoevsky, on meeting with Ivan Braginski, really could understand that "the poison of doubt and permissiveness", "Karamazovshina ", voiced by Ivan Karamazov, already had penetrated all spheres of Russian society.
