I see youkofujima already asked/pointed out what I'd been wondering for a while already i.e. the title of this whole collaboration. Because it's indeed very fitting for Russia and America. Because even when reading a happy fic about them, set in the time when they were still good friends, there's the overhanging shadow of "I know how this is going to end" about them. It's what makes the pairing so damn heartbreaking. >__<

I think Russia comes off as the more restrained, mature one, just because of his age and his manner of address, but he's...really not. They are both equally likely to fly off the handle (and I think Russia may actually be more likely to resort to "FISTS!" in a crisis, since trying to talk his way out of things has, historically, done him about this much good).
I'm glad you're happy with the title! I, uh, kinda forget we have a title, sometimes...every so often I hear people talking about "The Chosen End" and I'm like "hay guyz, wat's that? =D" until my brain turns over and I remember that TCE is not actually just called TCE.
So go figure. XD

... Now I've got a comic version of that stuck in my head. XD With Russia&America having the usual bicker when Russia out of the fucking blue shouts "FISTS" and punches Al. XD Might do them both some good.
Also, because I unexpectedly found myself inspired to draw something for this chapter, is this something along the line of what type America's gun would be?

Why yes! It is pretty much the dead-standard, giant-bullet government gun for the US for the next 40 years. =D
Here's another picture of one in better condition. America's is ~new,~ after all.
I hope you'll share whatever you draw with us? =o

Specifically, I had this moment in mind:
"Oh my God--" he gasped, and tears were gathering in his eyes, then, from hilarity, "Oh my God, don't you get it? How completely--completely--fucking--ridiculous this is?" He took a big step back, spread his arms wide, like a ringmaster at a circus. "This is our future, Russia!" He wouldn't stop laughing. "This is the future you wanted! This conversation, forever! Isn't it great?"
