Summary: 1949 - Russia takes a walk in the park with his newest acquisition. Unfortunately, America is already there, Germany in tow. They meet; pettiness ensues. Narrated by Prussia.

Prussia always prided himself on not being half as willing to bend over and grab his ankles as the rest of Europe. )

I think the fact you girls chose Prussia to narrate the story instead of any of them made a lot less tense then it would've been otherwise... What was the name again? Bathos!

Bathos, fuck yes! Way to remember that lecture from your English teacher! *high fives* I sure as hell didn't.

But yeah, Prussia really lets the tension out of their confrontation. For the reader, at least. I think Russia and America didn't really appreciate having a peanut gallery when things got personal. Pyrrhic and I both loved having people there to react to the boys' posturing, though. XD

*Cough* Actually, this is undercutting, not bathos. Bathos is designed to look unintentional (on the part of the authors, I mean, not the characters), while undercutting is clearly deliberate.
