whooooo it's finally done (almost)
All my parts finally came, except for my video card, which I'm sick of waiting on so he has till monday night or else he can fuck off. But it's built! And my room is a mess! And I also rearranged my room a bit.
Not shown: Pornographic amount of styrofoam peanuts inside trash bag. Motherboard box on my bed.
Not shown: Bitchin' blue LED's on my motherboard because my camera+flash=sucks. And I need to figure out how to tame the wires. The modular power supply really helps, but not completely.
Opteron 148, bitch. None of those wuss-sauce Athlons for me.
Had to put the apple sticker there, to keep the spirit of the mini <3.
It's pretty quiet. No buzzing, no vibrating. Just a nice fan hum and the whoosh of over 100 CFM being moved through the case. I'm happy. Happier when I get my video card and can finally use it and get it all burnt-in, set up, and ass kicking.
Now onto Christmas shopping. I got some ideas for everybody so hopefully it'll go smooth.
