Random Good Things Post
I've been feeling pretty lethargic all day today, so I'm posting some Random Good Things in the hopes that it will cheer me up.
- This morning I went to Muddy at 10:00 to do common-size statements with Basira, who is the most awesome ever.
- I have not written or read any fanfic today. This is actually a good thing.
- It's October, finally. I fucking love October.
- My take-home problem is done, and so now all I have to do for tomorrow is study.
- I'm pretty sure the muses are back. They are quiet, but they're here, which is a vast improvement.
- My only test next week, that I know of, so far, is on Monday.
- Next Friday I will go home, and I will stay home until Tuesday.
- And next Sunday I will go to the Maryland Renaissance Faire.
- Ariel has very kindly offered to let me live with her next semester. The only possible problem I could see with this is that having Ku visit might weird her out a little (I'm not sure of her Orientation or what her Sensibilities are). Also she lives in Lesher.
- My test tomorrow is in Advanced Accounting, at which I seem to be better than Intermediate Accounting, so maybe I will not fail.
- The moon is waxing crescent, and it's October 10, and this means (assuming Q's calculations are correct, but they might not be because the Singularity may have messed up the seasons) that if I were in Places With Stuff, it would be pretty damn safe for me to go scavenging topside tonight. [EDIT: as it turns out, it would actually not be very safe tonight, because of the new rhythm of things. On a scale of 1-12, 1 being "safe" and 12 being "fuck, you're fucked, don't even try", tonight would be a 9. So, if I absolutely had to, I should go topside now because the next five days are gonna be even worse, but if I can stick it out for another week or so I should do that.] [EDIT 2: wait a minute...the months are different. Tonight is October 10, so...third day of the 11th month...is about a 6.]
- I got an A on my first essay of the year. This was a couple weeks ago, but it still makes me happy.
- I can, apparently, draw wings. This is new.
- Halloween is coming!
- It was sunny today.
- Hermit crabs tickle when they walk.
- I sang in choir on Friday.
- I am going to go and eat now.
