A year or so ago I found a great online bead store. Lots of variety and pretty good prices, depending on what it is you're looking for. I purchased my beads, they arrived, they were beautiful and made lovely jewelry. Then I started receiving his email "newsletter". It's hysterical. So hysterical that I just had to share the one that came today. :)

Welcome,
to our glass sale. In a search of our website you will find over a thousand glass items from beads to rocks (obsidian), all of it 20% off this weekend and up to midnight eastern standard time on Tuesday, or Wednesday at 4am GMT if you are an internationalist. Goldstone for instance. Prisms. Chinarovski. Stripperovski. Your code for this sale is GLASSY. Like Jessica Simpson's eyes. Stop by South Pacific and pick out your glass. Drive from far and wide. We get a lot of Vermont envy since we are the greenest, most liberal, most beautiful state in the U.S. Unfortunately people can't become natives until they've lived here 200 years or their family has made it through four generations of our winters. I don't make the rules. But when you visit, you get credit towards your 200 years. Like adding up frequent flyer miles. I can even speak Verbonics for you, a secret language we rarely share with outsiders.
My son is getting settled in Guangzshou as my buyer if he can make it past the pollution. Soon I hope to have fabulous deals for you. I'm excited. You'll be rewarded for opening 33 years of my emails. "Why doesn't he just have a blog if he wants to do that!" I still have half a million strands of beads mired in customs in New York, since early May. It will be like Christmas when they arrive. For me and for you. It may be Christmas when they arrive.
Lastly, if you were one of the fun people at Beadfest Philadelphia, thanks. Nicest folks ever. I even have a new favorite Canadian. Move over Ken Dryden. Way over.
