Tower of Druaga: Ageis of Uruk / Sword of Uruk
Verdict: 4/5 thumbs up.
As a huge nerd, this series appealed to all things geeky. The series features fantastic character designs and sharp animation from GONZO. It is filled with old 8 bit VG references, strange Japanese cultural references, D+D stock cliches. All in all, an enjoyable two seasons. Episode 5 of season 1 is IMO, probably the stand out episode of the series.

2nd Season (Sword of Uruk) Op - which is IMO, an awesome opening. There's lots of little things happening in the background and the opening contains in-jokes from the series, so I never get tired of watching it.

Verdict: Deferred.
Halliday put me on this series. He neglected to tell me that it is an ONGOING series. I have currently stopped at the end of the first story arc at episode 7. From what I can see so far, it looks like an ok series. I have no idea where the plot is going, so this is a plus. Animation on the whole is nice, and it is interesting to see that Shoji Kawamori is getting away from his overly uptight real-robot designs. This show contains lots of fanservice. More on this when the series concludes.

Le-sigh. At least the power armors were cool. Luckily it was only 3 episodes.
Currently playing: SOUL EATER. (I am finding this very entertaining. More on this later...)
