&45 The Source [Locked to the Police Force]

Jan 26, 2009 12:02

It seems as if several citizens have beaten us to the task of finding the source of these obnoxious fumes. I was told that the source of this toxin is located within the tunnels upon Bredo Avenue, in-between Horton Lane and Marshall Street near the fish market. Despite this source being found by the volunteers, we have no means as to how we can fix ( Read more... )

Unfortunately such is beyond my own area of expertise... however, if help is required despite that, I would be glad to give it.

I fear perhaps this is beyond the expertise of many of us who have joined the task force.

Nonetheless, your aid is most appreciated!

I have studied a variety of subjects, but the repair of gas mains is something I never thought would be relevant to my life...

Nevertheless, perhaps looking at it will lend a solution. At least it would prevent more of this gas from polluting the city, although that does nothing for what is already present.

The events I have witnessed here in Discedo, are events I never once experienced in my days as Judge Magister. Archades was a beautiful and bustling city filled with life and the technology far greater than what I have seen in Discedo. Perhaps the life I once lived was a luxury despite the agony of such a chore...

I wonder if Discedo can become even more toxic than what it already is. If so, then is there a way we could leave for Accedo? This city dead and not a ounce of life exists that isn't a beast or devil.

If this situation cannot be solved or arises again, perhaps it would be best for us to evacuate the masses?

...Accedo?

An evacuation is logical, but I think such a thing would be difficult to arrange. There are monsters outside the city stronger than the ones here - to escort and protect everyone, as well as convince them... there are not enough police to do this task, and to rely on everyone's cooperation and support - while ideal - is unfortunately... unlikely.

It is clear, however, that we are vastly unprepared for any number of emergency situations.

From the rumors I've heard, there is supposedly another city in this land. Supposedly...

It would be logical to evacuate but to even consider doing this would be foolish because of the harsh geography of the lands before us. Besides, I am not even sure this Accedo even exists anymore. Information about this city and other cities seem to be only in the form of rumors and myths of a past that none us know well enough.

But I am honestly out of ideas...

Cooperation between the police force and the citizens is strained enough as it is. It was foolish of me to even consider this idea.

It is a logical path of action to take. Unfortunately, the people here are indeed reluctant to be led. It's... inconvenient.
