It's like a fucking novel here. It's epic.

Alright so to start with the epic tell of the second interview.
Let's start with the setting, feeling and place.
Setting, its an interview and this story takes place from an airport, hotel, dinner, bus, and a place called Little Rock (guess that's the place too). The feeling, nervous as hell, stomach in knots, shaking and feverish.
Okay let's begin, on Thursday I left for my flight. I had about an hour and half lay over in Houston. That's all fine with me. At this place I meet one of my group mates for our presentation (spoken of in an earlier post)and another girl she's talking too. Both these ladies are great people. We laugh, joke, talk till our flight.
On the plane to Little Rock one of the girls...loudly. We talked about the up coming interview that we were attending, the first interview we had with them, random shit and anything that came to mind. Alright so we talked for like two hours on this flight, not realizing that our recruiter was behind her. Apparently we were told he found the bits and pieces of our conversation that he heard amusing. Glad we were entertaining to say the least. This either worked to our advantage or disadvantage. Not event to Little Rock and I've manged to fuck up, haha
Next on the agenda, my roommate. I only point this out because of the irony that I'm not lucky with roommates ever...with the except of Rach.(but it's like living with yourself in that case, haha). This girl I'll say it as few words as possible : rich, sorority girl and typical attitude associated. I wanted to hit her in the face a few times, but I smiled and talked to her instead...self control on high there.
Group presentations: oh this one is more of I'm still worried about how we did ours. Okay most groups had like 10 slides and talked for about 10 minutes. We had 4 slides and talked for about 5 minutes. But here's where I'm stuck at, the email that they sent said 3-4 slides for about 5-10 minutes. To me that's 4 slides total and at most a 5 minute presentation. They also didn't ask us to many questions over our topic, but we didn't start talking about information we didn't know about. It was short, sweet and to the point. I'm saying it was good, because they wanted concise and fucking hell it was.
On day one we didn't get into bed till about 2 am. and I woke up at 5 am...my insomnia poking it's ugly head around. Gha! I didn't have to work up for another hour and half! So no sleep pretty much.
On day two, Friday, we had a full day planed. Out of the hotel by 7:30am and we didn't return till 8 pm that night. You know I really don't think I fucked up here. I talked and joked with people and the recruiters. We had lunch at about 2 ish, and this leads me to my next situation. We went to dinner around 8:30 ish, I had one drink, munched on appetizers, and half of my hamburger. The waitress walks around to pick up the plates and calls me out on not eating food. I'm like WTF! Both recruiters are close enough to me to take notice (I had been talking with one of them through out dinner) I'm like no, no I had enough to eat thank you. Yea I'm really skinny, but I fucking eat...when I'm not depressed, nervous as hell, and/or stressed. It's a pet peeve of mine, the general public thinks I don't eat based on what they see at one sitting. So I was the center of attention (don't like that).
The Exit interview, (and you would think this would be the end of it). Here we just had to go in and talk with the recruiter. Some people were in there for like 5 minutes and some for about half an hour or more. I was the latter, but I could have easily been the former. So I went in there and just started to talk, and at some points rambled on. But I was mostly myself, and comfortable talking and asking him questions about this and that. I was honest, brutally at some points, used my hands to talk at some points (its how I roll). At this point, I either made or broke myself with how I conducted myself in that exit interview. Though with the first one, I was pretty much the same way saying what I really meant and sugar coating everything to fit into what I think they want to hear. We'll see in the next week to two months when they get back to me on it, haha omg I hope it's sooner then two months. I walked out of my exit interview and it was about 1 am...I should've walked upstairs and went to bed, right?
No, I didn't, I stayed up with the others, who were drinking ( I was not) till about 4:30 am that's when I decided I had enough of one dirt old man who was there. Bitch saying I was low of texas, bothers me, sorry I wasn't like that other girl drinking, letting you paw at me and being flirty, it's not me. I will glare at you, and make fun of you. Don't care. Anyways off topic...Went to bed at 4:30 am, and had to be up in two hours to catch the bus back to the airport. I set my alarm for 6:30 am, enough time to roll out of bed, make sure I got everything, and grab something to eat downstairs...did that happen, NO. At 7 am on the dot one of my group mates calls me and is like "are you coming down now?" I have this uncanny ability to be dead asleep and sound awake on the phone or vise verse, I responded "yea, we're walking out the door now," and in two minutes flat. My roommate and I are, out of bed, packed (i did mine before going to sleep), dressed, checked out and getting on the bus.
Needless to say, nothing happened at the airport. I made my flights, and got home safely. Slept all day. Now I'm just waiting to hear back. The trip was epic, and I don't believe I can go through with another interview like that again, haha.

fuck, fucking interview, epic
