Well tomorrow is my final school day at SHS. I dont know if i'm ready to leave, and many in my position would say "damn, i'd trade you for my situation." But it all came so quick and time passed without me really having a chance to finalize everything. Its been a long way since August 4th 2003, but now im at the final day i guess all i can say for the next few months is "hell if i know." High school is high school no matter how you look at in a sense that, its a place to learn, be with friends and eat lunch and grow up a bit. Socially i hope to still keep the good friends i made but i know i wont be with them every day anymore but i'll get used to it, much like i was before i entered high school because as ive explained a million times i used to be homeschooled and i didnt know anyone much for my brother and family. I dont really have a favorite moment or day or class but i have a few, but i dont have the energy to post anything, maybe in a few weeks. I may do a quick rundown of what i remember:
10th-Burke-"hell if know"
10th-Doing imitations of Mr Mallory for the class
10th-drawing comics with Ashley Slaton
10th-3rd with Drew and Patrick Mathieson and having a time having fun.
10th-Burke-"dammit."
10th-Roach clips on my ears(had a big talking to by my mom, she was convinced i was on drugs"What am i going to tell your father?..We used to use them at Elton John Concerts")
10th-the bus
11th-Coach dawkins class, like every day with Matt and Robert.
11th-Shultz-Getting sent out all the time and being stupid. I had a 49 in the second semester.
11th-5th-Drew and me would go crazy and we'd copy worksheets and laugh during lectures.
11th-Coach Dawkins-The shocker pen he threw, the language, the dicussions on politics, baseball, and school in general "Im not gonna let a kid tell me what to do, im leaving this school next year, i could care less."-Coach Dawkins
11th-Lunch with Chez and Casey and Parish and Drew
11th-Geology class and all the times playing cards with Chad and Robert and Oomp
11th-Trading consoles with Oomp, my PS2 for his Gamecube
11th-getting in trouble for the cell phone incident with Parish and Beontate, James had a fit.
11th-Coach wise class with Kelly and Wesly and Shea and Rebebekah
11th-tape gun hand!
11th-putting empty peaches containers in Kyles bookbag
11th-"Gracepoint?....Westpoint."-Chez
12th-6th, never had a better 6th than that class. With April, JJ and Sam and Lee
12th-Lunch with Rylander and Hemin and Phil and Scott, oh the things we talked about(Xbox, anime, the state of the world, what if scenarios if Hemin invaded some monument with a Jetliner).1st semester
12th-Lunch with Phil, Lauren, Chris, Kelly, Leena and Daniel and Zander and Caitlin and Shannan, one of my favorite tables besides 11ths.
12th-4th with Chris and Bryan and Mitchell and Smallwooooooood. Tiitiies! BoobS! Cuuuunt! Oh the trouble we'd cause. Spitballs, throwing things and Robert, and Jared. "Uhhh Shut the hell up!"-Jared "got em!"-Chris
12th-Mr Mallory leaving/fired/died
12th-Mrs. Criswell's class with Charlene and Megan. Chewie wrote on my arm!
12th-JJ and his unpredictability
12th-April
Im so thankful for all the rides i got to school and back from Chez, Cameron, Ben, dad, the bus, Jeremy, Drew, Lee, Parish, Matt during summer school, Robert and all our hangouts after school..
And all the lunch money i got and the chance to finish high school. I'll fuckin' miss it and the only thing i wont miss is waking up early. I skipped so much in 11th, i dunno how i passed. Hell, i dont know how i passed, period. Im glad i got Jason and Matt and Robert to convince me to go Vocational. I wouldnt be here today. I remember i stayed up all night because i couldnt sleep for the 1st day of 11th grade and played Dreamcast. It turned out to be my favorite year.
Joshs' 'Final thoughts':High school is a long time for those just entering. But dont do like i did and slack off, you will give a damn later when you find out you need every credit to graduate, and thats a scary thing. I always thought it got better year by year, but i liked 11th the best. The summer afterwards was excellent and one of the best of my life. I always dreaded entering high school, but i never had anything to worry about. Ive seen people come and go here, ive seen quite a few fights, ive laughed so hard i cried, i gotten pissed off and almost fought, but i always have been glad i chose SHS not for the teachers or rules or look, but because of the friends i'd made. Now i may go to Gordon and major in something. Im not sure, but i know for sure that military is out of the book. Now im at a forked path to decide my own ways and what to do, and its only up to me. Some advice would be alright too. So in the end, be good to each other, and plan ahead. Graduation will come up for you very fast, and catch you by surpise. Go ahead and start thinking seriously about what you want do with yourself.
