I was supposed to be starting my new job today, but we woke up this morning to find Brighton covered by about 5 inches of snow. This being England, everything had ground to a halt, so what's a girl to do? Well, enlist the help of the husband and the next door neighbour's child and build a snow dalek of course!

But seriously, five inches? When the snow gets knee deep you may start worrying! And that still doesn't excuse you from going to work! *puts on polar suit to cope with the arctic climate*

I remember that the breaks on the school bus used to freeze when it was minus twenty five. Luckily enough, one of the neighbourhood boys had a car so we could make it to school. Snow day? What is that? *shakes head at wussy British people*

But hey, only three months left until spring!

I can move to Bali plz?

LOL That is so cool!
Mr B & I had a glorious snowy romp through the woods with Buddy this morning & have spent the rest of the day toasty warm inside. Plus we've surfed & sorted & booked various elements of our US road trip for the summer. Hooray! :-)

I'm so excited; we're touring through Arizona & Utah & a little bit of Nevada - lots of hiking & rafting plus some livin' it up in Vegas! *g*

We were certainly lucky here - I haven't seen snow like it in England, especially not down south! Sorry you weren't off too - that's when it stops being fun snow to play in and becomes annoying snow that you have to commute in! *hugs & lobs a snowball at you* cep xxx
