It's such a perfectly observed character piece with so many layers - the hint into Rodney's childhood, how being in Pegasus has changed him, the casual way that John knows what Rodney needs & the way that he takes care of him, the gentle humour & of course, the love. ♥ Plus beautifully lush descriptions of Atlantis, the ocean & the storm. Honestly - it's like all my favourite things in one story!

I just love sciency!Rodney and the desciption of Atlantis in the rain (and the reflected vision of John in the glass!). I adored the way the storm blew over so quickly and the sun came out in the end. A very feel-good piece. *happy sigh*
