recent events of my otherwise eventless life
Hello friends.
Recently I went to NIDA for my second lesson. It was good. We read a bit of romeo and julliet - I still don't understand why people always do that play so boring and serious - it's so-o clearly a comedy, and I think it would be very funny if they performed it with swooning julliets and romeo so-o unbelievably in love that you're beyond the vomitting stage. Yes.
Also I went to tropfest. By myself. It was very lonely. Oh well. I got uncomfortable sitting on the ground anyway, so I left before the end and I don't know who won. :*(
(For those who don't know, I entered a film, but it didn't get to the top 16... but I was still proud of it).
Yesterday I popped some resume's into some more places, including the pizza places. And I went to my homegroup (like a deeper smaller youth groupy bibly thing) which I lead and we watched a clip from Aladdin. Gosh I love that movie. I had to rewatch it AGAIN! How can one movie be so-o good. At the moment I'm even considering popping Narnia down to second place on the greatest movies of all time. This is extreme for me.
Oh Yeah - and for those people who went to the Aladdin marathon we had that day(people such as Rackel and Mel Nall etc.):
Remember the bit where the guards appear in aladdin's hide-out and we're like,
"how did they find him... they've never found him before!" etc. etc. etc.
WELL... I worked it out!!!!!
Aladdin puts the plank thing over so Jasmine can get across (although she then prooves she doesn't need it), and then we see a snippet of him walking off without removing the plank. Therefore the plank is there and the guards can across for the first time!
Oh my gosh the whole thing makes sense!
Yep, and I also noted a continuity error in the magic carpet ride whole new world sequence - they fly across a full moon, and then in the water reflection they see a crescent moon. Yep. My theory is the genie made it happen.
That's right.
And yes, today I'm going to my first ever interview on account of I have never done an interview before. It's for dominos at Mt Colah. That's right - near blockbuster. Yep.
3pm. I'll be there, on account of 3pm is when the interview begins.
