Rendering

Jan 11, 2007 00:40

Well, whilst my movie is rendering, I thought I should come and talk to you good people, about the strange and exhausting life that I lead.

On saturday I had an interesting day. I made my "Princess and the Pea" movie. It was a lot of fun, and everyone who helped me out was very helpful and talented. This was also desiree's bday! Happy Birthday again for then desiree.
I also got to chat with old school buddy ellen, whom I hadn't seen in over a year (she was being an actor in my movie) (I was also a actor).

After shooting the movie, I took ellen back to central station (she lives in wollongong now),
and was all on schedual to get to Rackel's thing in centennial park. I hadn't had time to go home and make sure I had phone numbers, or details, so I was just hoping it would be easy and turn out.
So, I made it to centennial park, managing to go the right direction down all the streets, and then drove around for a while in it, but couldn't find anything (and there were all these scary signs saying "gates close at sunset!!!!" - it was almost sunset! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Then I saw in the distance, a white screen. So a parked, and got out to check to see if it was the right place, so I could ask where to park.
I left everything in my car, and ran up to the screen. Yay! Lots of people! The right place. I saw a line of people buying tickets. Dang, I left my money at the car, but I asked someone about parking, and where I was was fine. So I went back to the car (I was far too tired to run this time... long day on set), so it took seemingly forever. Walked back, and when I got there the ticket line was very small!
Wahoo-ooo!!!!!!!!
Actually.... damn. They were sold out. I tried to call people, but I had no one's phone number. Then the movie started, so I went home to feed montie.
Then my week started to get busy.

On sunday joshua insisted I come bowling for his "xing anneke Isaac Josh reunion", even though I needed to edit my movie. I went, and had lots of fun. Then went home and editted like mad for almost the whole day.
Then sister rung up and asked me to come pick up the brothers tomorrow. I should've said "no" but it was really my turn, so I foolishly said yes.

On monday, Summer school started. Gosh, I was tired. The movie was due on thursday and I had hardly any time left.
SUDDENLY LESS TIME!
I thought each day of summer school would be 3.5 hours... nup.... 7 hours. EEEPPPPP!!!!!!!!
So monday had no editting for Isaac. I did uni, then went to pick up brothers from newcastle. Then went to sleep, and woke up for uni again.
On tuesday I had to capture noise from nancy's harp, and there was so-o much to do!!! eeppp!!!!!!!!!
Today, I've been edit edit edtttttttittttttttttttttttttttttttttting!!!!!!!!!!!
I had to cut it down a minute, and fix up the buzzing cicadas, and the bad contrast, and add the music, and add the titles and the credits.

AND IT WASN'T HELPING THAT MY COMPUTER WOULD RANDOMLY TURN OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I almost cried.

But now I believe it is happily rendering, and as long as DVDing stuff all goes well, I shall be handing it into tropfest TOMORROW!!!! Wahhoo--oooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
