I heard my favourite berowra singer sing my favourite song this morning.
O HOLY NIIIIII-IIIIIIGHT, THE STARS ARE BRIGHTLY SHINNNNNN-NNNNNNING!!!!!!!!!

I always get a bit obsessed with that song over christmas. I must've sung it 20 times today, at the top of my lungs - probably even more yesterday. It's all I've sung. Other music has been painful to my ears in comparison (especially fat boy slim which my brother is listening to currently).

Four new board games entered the owen household this christmas time from various relatives etc.
Settlers of Catan. (it's a very cute game, not as EVIL as the games I really enjoy - like risk... desiree - but a very cute game nevertheless, and I like those cute games where everything has been thought through very well). (I played against the family this evening and won, so that's the most important).
Greed Quest. (it's a bit like Munchkin, but it's also a bit frustrating. We played it with the relatives at christmas lunch thingo, and I won, so it can't be too bad)
Articulate. (haven't played it yet, but I expect it's a bit like Taboo, which is a very cool game).
Anti-monopoly. (that's right. Anti-monopoly. Haven't played this one yet either, but it too looks cool, and somehow incoporates the original monopoly game in with "competitive enterprise" too).
World trader. (did I say 4 games? There's MORE! I gave this one to my brother. It's a bit like monopoly. Again, not played yet).

Ooo.. and at christmas lunch thing, we also played citadels, and I won that too.
So 3 out of 3 is not bad for a christmas.
