Quiet day. Come the holidays, patients are ebbing. In contrast to my early practice days, I like the silence now.
So... I treated a handful today, and apart from that, I only treated the garden.
I raked the lawn (which is growing into a small meadow), I moved a couple of ferns. I finally moved that poor wretched Astilba from its too dry hill spot to a much moister place in the zen garden. Which is called the zen garden because I started with that small corner, using planting as meditation. It doesn't remotely look Asian or such, but... well, you know the story.
I also mended a hole in the hedge, moving a rather astounded stray box from the wilderness to a dapper duty.
All in all, I feel good. The holidays are neigh.
