I got my online handle, 10 years ago, from a Tolkien name generator: calenmundoiel. Never spent the time to study any form of Elvish (though Quenya is nearly a requirement for reading the Silmarillion), but look what I just learned!

How've you been? :O LJ's kind of dead lately... so I was making rounds poking everyone of my LJ friends and trying to see if they were still around and maybe adding them in dreamwidth if they were available there. Can't lose my precious LJ friends B|!

That's a nice policy. It's easy for online buddies to kind of blend together.

LJ has become more a file-sharing system than a means of communicating with friends. I've been well enough, hopefully I'm a bit more grounded than I was back in those days... How about you? (I'm calen on DW, but I have exactly zero friends or entries, haha. Recently I'm on Twitter more than anywhere else :P)

I gotta admit, I use it for catching up on fandoms myself. The fandoms never really left LJ, despite most actual LJ users (that you know, blog) leaving...

I used to use it for RPing and the like but that's moved onto dreamwidth.... I'll add you on DW nevertheless! I'm madderskies over there (I'll add you B3). I also have a twitter account but I don't really use it... I'm more on plurk :d

I use LJ for fansubs, but my fandom thing has moved to Weibo. They're so fast over there.

Added you as well, though I'm even worse at keeping up with DW than LJ. I don't have plurk (don't they also have a 140-character limit?), but I spam the hell out of Twitter. @calen17, though I won't take offense if you'd rather not :P
