Life was supposed to get better when I moved to the city yet in the end I find myself more confused and even a little more bitter. Life is never what you expect it to be, I understand that. Ah hell, I had to get back to the cabin. No one was here when I arrived, so I can safely presume that Marcus is still on his mission on the other side of the anamolly and Summer is more than likely in her shop.
Interlude....
There now I feal a lot better. Forced myself to eat something, a small steak and handfull of green beans. Still feel sick but a helluva lot better. Just finnished watching Angel on television (thank you Summer for the connection and the 60" plasma T.V.) with my girlfriend and came back to finnish this. I don't know what the fuck I was thinking earlier, with all the cotton fluff in my freakin noodle I'm surprised that I could even form a cohesive thought pattern. I nearly starved my neopets to death, I am going to have to remember to get someone to feed them when I am away from the cabin. Summer is the most likely candidate, always returning here after work to work in her shop on whatever has interested her at that particular momment. Y'know when I watch the old Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes I would have never beleived that there would be a Buffy that was capable of more than smashing the kneecaps of vampires and demons with a group of friends to supply the smarts. I mean she isn't realy dumb in any of her incarnations, oops thats a lie there was at least one that gave even a bad blonde a bad name, they are reasonably smart to a point.
Now that there is no Sunnydale and no longer any vampires (actualy no Earth for that matter) in her reality, Summers interests have turned to other pursuits. Now don't get me wrong, the girl can still throw down with the best of them if her sparing matches with the other denizens of the cabin tell a true tale. With her additional Borg abilities and technology she can hold her own with Keshek reasonably well, their fighting styles vary enough that neither seems to have any particular advantage. Warhead on the other hand is miles ahead of the slayer borg, in strength endurance and mastery of his style. Well he did study under an Ogian master on Altar for most of the first half of his life while his planet was over run by the Macky war machine as they prepared to once again invade the cosmos.
Sheesh those things were freaks.
Marcus on the other hand can be a bit of an enigma. He is one of the oldest creatures that I personaly know, supposedly forged five thousand years ago to be humanitys best hope against the supernatural monsters that plagued them. Well reality sucks. Those same monsters were actualy the ones that were hell bent on saving humanity from itself oddly enough. Well some of them were anyway. The Blood Wars changed all of that. The survivors turned back to themselves for survival, turning their backs on the humans that had turned on them with such carnage. It was not a happy time.
