I played guitar today until my hand couldn't move much more. We started the new Landmine Marathon LP "Rusted Eyes Awake" (or as we like to call it, Rusty Trombone) this week. Spent 25-30 hours involved with drums. Spent saturday preparing my gear and setting up for guitar and then played all day and night today. I got 6 of the ten halfway done. They will still need another set of tracks, and I may just double up the set of tracks I'm doing with this tone just for safety's sake. Needless to say, it will take me most of the week. We're really excited about this record and even more excited for the next one, though it's a long ways off.
I quit NSK last week and it was a very sad thing, but probably time for it to happen. My involvement really didn't go beyond playing shows and recording and the band may get busier soon. That as well as some other things made it time for me to unfortunately step back.
Amy and I are getting married July 11th at the antique wedding house in Mesa. We'll just be having immediate family there for the ceremony and some aunts and uncle's and whatnot for dinner afterwards. We're trying to keep it really really simple, yet it keeps getting more complicated. What can you do. So, yeah, things are ok right now.
