isn't this for cuteness???
it was so fucking cold that night! but i felt so subculture bourgouis all hanging out at the san antonio country club, smoking cigarettes off the back porch and stealing christmas ornaments off their giant christmas tree. great night...
in other news, i'm visiting with my father this evening & that's for excitement. i'm trying to quickly relearn 'absence of god' so i can impress him with my guitarz skillz and and consequently win his affections and maybe even love. i've been drinking so much coffee lately that i'm surprised my pee isn't brown, but it is helping me take off the last of the baby weight. i'm listening to a really annoying remix of 'zombie nation'. note to all other technophiles: the best zombie nation remix will always be the 'ohohohoh' one, because it sounds like real zombies.
yesterday we took riley to get her baby immunizations (i swear her baby disease would be out of control if it weren't for those shots) and that was actually fun. we went with the expectation that we'd be in the fucking waiting area in excess of an hour, so i brought my current issue of in touch and ripped out a celebrity babies crossword for mikk. we did forget the diaper bag, but luckily i had plenty of baby toys in my purse. yes, my purse.
riley wasn't even that freaked out by her shot, at least not until about eight pm, when she treated us to the most hellacious baby fit yet (probably brought on by soreness). whatever it was, when she cries like that it hits me at my mommy core. mikk saved the day, though, and within 15 minutes they were both napping on the couch with some movie murmuring in the backround, and i just went into the master and read a library book on top of our bed until i was snoozing, too.
by the way, library books are awesome. right now i have like eleven checked out, which include America by Jon Stewart and Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them by Al Franken (& Team Franken, mind you), the latter which is an excellent and quick read for all you politically minded folks out there. also, Diary by Chuck Palahniuk (which I discovered yesterday via google is pronounced PAUL O NIK) is very good, despite the child out of wedlock as a form of premature death plot device making me feel a little ooky.
MUST BEGIN WORKING. as in right now, if right now means after checking my email (which is inundated with rollergirl message board shit), myspace, defamer.com, gawker.com and msn.com. and my soulseek queue (kraftwerk vs whitney houston is probably the highlight of my dl list right now). btw, my soulseek name at work is misskatieharder and at home the_bustoid, natch. give me a heads up if you see me, i have a very liberal uploading policy, as in, i don't care. and it's my personal opinion that those who do care are both douches and nerds, like a nouche, or a doucerd. & on that note: i don't have anything else to say. the end.
ps: what's 30 divided by 1/2 plus 10 ? if you said 70, you're not mildly retarded. & that's enough of regurgitating my mothers spam emails.
