So I never told you about my last weekend. Mike's birthday weekend. That weekend.
It was a lovely weekend, except for Sunday morning. And then it was ok again after that.
-Thursday night, I did nothing. I babysat, and then did nothing. I think. I don't remember that night, but I suppose it really isn't that important.
-Friday, I went to Bealls with my mom so I could get a skirt to wear that night. It was a way pretty skirt, too. I have three skirts now, because we bought two on Friday. Yay! =) Anyway, after shopping around with my mom, I went home, showered, got ready, and then had to go to school to help set up for the honors semester event; the event for which I was in charge of decoration and set-up, was late for set-up, and then didn't even stay for my own event. Awesome. Yeah, so I was late for set-up, which then made me late to Mike's house. Sigh. But it was ok.
So, I got to Mike's house at 6:45 or something. And we left to go to Cheesecake Factory, and had, remarkably, only a 20 minute wait. And there were so many people there! So, we had this AWESOME dinner. Wow. It was so good. It's crazy. We left there and drove in a big circle, trying to figure out what to do. We got on the Veterans, got off on Hillsborough, drove east past the airport, and then turned onto Dale Mabry and went back towards International Mall. Yeahhh, we're awesome. Then we decided to go to St. Pete to this arcade there. We spent a little bit of time there... played some random video games, and then played a round of pool. And he beat me. But I didn't do so bad.
(Best part of the night): We drove over to the Don Czar hotel and parked there and went around the back and sat on one of the chairs facing the beach. It was such a beautiful night out; the sky was clear and you could see the stars, and there was barely anyone out on the beach because it was about 11 or so, by the time we got out there. We sat out there for an hour, talking and looking at the stars and stuff. It was beautiful. Then we drove back to his house, watched something (a movie, I'm sure. I just don't remember what), and then fell asleep. <3
-Saturday, we had Advanced Teams practice at 10. Sigh. That was the only downside... I had to wake Mike up early so I could leave to go home. Oops. =) Anyway, I was at church from 10 to 3:30. We had a pretty great time, actually. Our flag routine is freaking awesome. Alayna and I got Taco Bell for lunch. And then after practice was over, we went back to my house and hung out (which is where those pictures came from a few entries back.). We ate dinner late, as usual, and hung out for a while. Then she went home, and I went to Bennigans to meet up with Mike after the Spring football game was over. Stupid Spring Game. Anyway, we hung out at Bennigans for a while, and then went back to my house with the intent of watching a movie. But we fell asleep.
-Sunday, I was late to church. And it caused some big problems. And my dad was really angry at me for something else. But it was all worked out (for the most part), and that was fine.
-Sunday after church, I went to Mike's house for lunch for his birthday. His grandparents and uncle came over... I met a little bit more family than I met on Easter. We had some really freaking good chicken and rice. We watched the Rays game, which I thnk they lost... surprise, surprise. Then went to work... that's the worst part about Sundays. Having to go to work. Blah. At least we have fun at work. After work, we went back to Mike's house, at our leftovers from Cheesecake Factory, and... watched a movie. =)
This past week kind of sucked, because I had a lot of things due... papers, projects, tests. Same with this week now. But at least it's the last week before exams. I have two exams next one... one is my playing exam for Piano, and one is a regular exam for Introduction to Humanities (The Arts). It shouldn't be so bad. I had my written Piano exam this morning, and I think I got a 100. Score! I have a test tomorrow in American National Government, and as long as I get a 79 on the test, I'll get a B in the class... which I HAVE to get. I have a group presentation today, in about 45 minutes. Except for those few things, I'm just about finished with school. No more dang papers! YAY!
I started playing dodgeball with everyone at work, finally. So there probably won't be anymore pictures, because now I just play all the time. Thomas refers to me as "The Missing Link." Hahaha! People seem to have trouble hitting me while we play, and that apparently makes me awesome. Although last night, Thomas started pelting me with balls when we weren't playing, because it's the only way he can hit me (and because I had run around the corner earlier that night and threw one at him that hit him right in the back of the head!)... hahaha... so when I was finished reading flats, I chased him around the corner and we started randomly throwing balls at each other. Then a few other people joined, and it was like a real game of dodgeball... except we were hitting people on our own teams, as well, and no one really ever got out. It was just this massive free-for-all. It was SO FUNNY! Anyway, when we were doing that, everyone was hitting me because I never knew where the balls were going to come from because there were no real teams, even though we stayed on seperate sides like there were teams.
Dodgeball makes you find muscles you never knew you had. I hurt so bad last Thursday, after Olivia and I played, that it was ridiculous. I'm still a little sore now because I kept playing... Sunday and Monday night... but at least it's starting to go away. But we have so much fun! I'm so glad we finally started playing with them. =)
I can't think of anything else.
Oh yeah, this past weekend was amazing to. But there's no reason to go into detail... I doubt anyone wants to actually read it anyway. I doubt anyone actually wants to read what I wrote in here anyway. But whatever. I wanted to write about it because it made me happy. So there.
I promise that I won't always write this much. At some time, my entries will stop being so long. I promise.
Oh oh. We bought our stuff for NY over the summer! SCORE! I can't wait, I'm so excited!
And I think I'm getting my braces off soon. Hopefully, in about a month. =)
