Spoiled

Mom and Jeff pitched in and got me a new coat. It's beautiful and brown, but not to the point where I look horribly pale in it. There's faux fox fur on the sleeves and collar and falls just past my hips. They also picked out a very nice Nikon CoolPix camera with 7.1 Megapixels. Along with three days worth of Christmas pictures taken by Corey and me, there's a handful of videos. I'll link to those later.

Corey's pals all think I'm the greatest girlfriend ever since I got a copy of Behind The Paint for him. He was in a state of utter shock for an hour straight. Brady was jealous up until he saw what me and Mom had on the way for him. The blue ICP backpack with all the Joker's Cards he ran across one day from Mom, and a Jack Jeckel flag from me. Mom was jealous of Corey's copy of the first season of Dexter. She was more than happy to have the first half of season six of the Sopranos. Jeff loved his new stereo for the truck. He's got it installed already.

I treated myself to a couple of extra presents, partially using the gift card from grandma and the $10 from Corey's family. The first was a new pet rat named Porcelain. A strange name for any rat, of course, but her cream colored face and white soft body make her irresistible, even for Mom. The cat gets bored from it until it spies the tail. Sadie, the malamute/German Shepard, thinks Porcelain is a fascinating new toy. She's already stolen one sock and buried all her food. Corey swore against getting anywhere near her, but there's already Christmas pictures of us three.

The second, a new desk via Wal-mart. I had it all perfect until I placed one piece of a shelf on the wrong side. Now the pegs meant to hold it there are broken in half and stuck in the base. I'm hoping Jeff can help me maneuver around the issue since it's only plywood. I had no trouble putting the chair together. It has a surprising height to it. The cat can't get used to the idea of the ground spinning away from it's feet as it jumps off the seat.

The last batch was an 8 lb weight ball and a set of resistance tubes, complete with a workout guide and CD each.

Mom's convinced I won't have enough to try and get a car, but there's $200 in savings right now.
