Silver Rain

So I decided to take a two month break. Is there anything wrong with that? No, of course not. I'm still awesome, though. Thanks for asking.

In other news, Jarvis (aka whodigiya) is back from Iraq until the 24th or something. I don't know. (I should probably find out, I guess.)

Play rehearsals are about as not fun as they come.

Work is stupid and I need a new job. (Mostly because I haven't been working for about two months.)

School starts up on Monday. Last semester! Whoo-hoo! Panic is eminent.

I've been unable to sleep these past few nights worrying about my stupid senior project (among other things) and how behind Dan and I are. Next week we're going to have to get things in order.

In other other news, Green and I went down to DC to The 9:30 Club. Now I've never been in a club, but this one seemed pretty nice. We also went to a bar earlier waiting for the club to open. At the club I didn't much care for the opening band, which not surprisingly I've forgotten the name of. Someone and the Substitutes or something or other. However, The Silver Beats (the reason we went) made the wait well worth it. Who are The Silver Beats? They are a Japanese Beatles tribute band. It was amazing and they played some great songs. The whole club was singing along, but you'd think that if they were real fans they'd know the words a bit better than they did. The only downer, as Green and I agreed, was that the encore was pretty lousy. They ended with "Hey Jude" but all the other encore songs didn't seem to fit as encore pieces.

All in all, it was a good night.
