I saw one of the worst things today while driving to school. It was so bad I felt a need to tell you all about it.
While I was on McDonogh Road, crossing MD-140 onto Craddock Lane, there was a car on the opposite side of the road approaching the turning lane rather slowly. As I neared it, it looked as though there were maps up on the dashboard, though incredibly stupid as it would seem it at least explain why this car was moving so slowly. I could barely see in through the windshield, there was that much of an obstruction. Passing it on the side I saw that it was not a map, but in fact many bags of trash. On the dashboard. Then I further examined the car and saw that the entire backseat (and I believe most of the passenger seat) was also filled with bags of trash. I mean all of it, filled to the top. Okay, to be honest all I saw were grocery bags and trash bags, which I assume were filled with trash... as the bags were filled with something. Maybe more bags, I don't know. As I looked at the car through my rear-view mirror, I think I saw that the car actually had bags stuck to the back end, like maybe they got wet or something and just stayed there.
It was rather sad to see because I can guarantee that this car wasn't on a one time trip to the dump. Oh, crazy people, what makes you do the things you do?
Oh yeah, and today was September 11th... we really need to think of something else to call this day.
