Yeah...so, no Sara this weekend...again. I shouldn't be surprised, but in some ways, at least for this weekend it kind of makes sense. Though I had told Karen that I figured it was because of Easter (though it might also be because of that,) some of her family have invited themselves this weekend to see the baby, despite the fact that she's still in the hospital, and are forcing upon her a family gathering (she hates most of her family, I'm assuming that's why she was incredibly pissed when I got online and started talking to her yesterday.) Additionally, and I think these are the more BS reasons, she also apparently has some other friend of hers moving in this weekend and she apparently still doesn't feel comfortable leaving town while her daughter is in the condition she's in...regardless of the fact that there's really nothing she could do anyway. The baby's in the hospital, the doctors and nurses are doing their thing...I'm not really sure what Sara expects to be able to do...she's not even in the hospital anymore. Anyway, so no Sara. It is getting pretty old...I figure why bother even attempting to plan a day to come in to see me and tell me about it time and time again if she thinks she'll be busy at all? Who knows. Some think it's all bullshit, I think it's more that she lets herself get too easily distracted. It does seem to be the case sometimes. I don't know, but it feels right now as if the only way I could see her is to drive down there myself...which I kind of can't do on account of not having a car here. Eh, perhaps one of these days there will be no more excuses as to why we can't meet.
Additionally, my roommate's girlfriend came in today...I'm kind of jealous that she's willing to make the commitment to visit, whereas mine is, it seems, not. And, as far as I know, I think she goes to school out of state...so that's a heck of a lot further than Sara would have to travel.
Meh, a bit annoyed, but whatever...things could be worse. Ok, I need sleep...I'm out...
