Hundreds of pounds down the drain...

Shamefully I only got up a couple of hours ago and I have tons of things to do today so I thought I ought to update first, I didn't go to bed till about 5AM last night so getting up at 1PM isn't really as bad as it sounds. We made dinner together and relaxed most of the night watching Eureka
and chatting, I also did a quick sketch. I haven't doodled anything in almost a year now and its just cartoon like but it still was fun to do and its made me really want to get drawing again (I know the back leg is really out of place but as I said I haven't doodled for a year or so and I haven't drawn often since about six years ago!) Its a Finnish lapphund ofcourse I only could find a cheap little blue inked pen so no colour. The markings are roughly Teddy's though.

Surprisingly I'm looking forward to having lots to do today, me and Stian are both feeling better and he's gone off to work now. Its super sunny so unfortunately too hot to take Teddy out for a walk just yet I'm counting on it cooling off before six else he's going to be driving me absolutely insane! I've got to sort out the spare bedroom today for when Stian's little brother comes to stay, I'm a bit nervous about that too. Its taken me a year to comfortably cook dinner for Stian I figure after a year he knows me well enough to know my food tastes like crap and that I could well posion him so if he wants to go ahead and eat it anyway then its on his shoulders, but to offer my food to guests... I almost feel mean! I hope he's not a fussy eater too, if he is I will just have to get some takeaway.

I've also only got one more girly book left to read and I have to make it last me until I go to England again and pick up some more! I don't think I'd do so well reading a book in Norwegian that is aimed at any age higher than about four - even then I'm sure there would be words I would struggle with! I wish I could bring all my studies over from England too, I've gone so much of it on scraps of paper and just forced them into a folder that is far to heavy to bring here. Ryanair luggage limits are ridiculously low. I've got to admit until I actually started packing I never really though of what a pain it would be to move abroad to a country you can't really drive to, I have to bring my things over 10-15kg's at a time!

Right I have to dye my hair, sort of my god awful eyebrows, find some product to make my skin less vampire like, hover the entire place, make a couple of beds, walk the dog, brush the dog and many, many other things! Oh the joys of cleaning - I miss my mother at times like this! Also even anyone knows any chick lit style journals let me know I want more journals to read but can't seem to find that many I enjoy reading other than the ones I already have added.

Edit - I am offically a bad girlfriend... Stian brought me a necklace worth god knows how much well into the hundreds for my 20th Birthday and I've lost it! I don't mean lost like ah it will turn up. I noticed when I got out of the shower after dying my hair that the chain was dangling empty over my shoulder... The diamond bit must have gone down the freakin' drain! Damn it! I should NOT be allowed expensive things... hundreds of pounds worth of gift down the drain (literally!) within 6 months of getting it!

I FOUND IT! Thanks to clifty_man for suggesting i check the pipes!!!
