Fluffy little monster

Sorry I didn't update for a while my camera died and I've been busy too. I'm actually learning to cook now, yes very house-wifey I know but a girls gotta learn someday. When I lived on my own before I just overcooked things and ate them anyway or ordered take out if it was no longer edible in any way, but now we can't really afford takeout plus I'm getting fat being here anyway so the less take out the better! Stian has always been the one that cooked but he works till late now and I have more time for it, he's a bit of a fussy eater though as am I so its awkward sometimes as I can't cook many different things yet. I'm going to try and make Lasenga - Wish me luck!

On the good side I've found my Norwegian book that I left here before I even moved to Norway and the CD too so I'm going to try that again tonight, I'm praying that I will know far more than I did when I read it last time as it was pretty difficult in all honesty - mainly the speaking part but I've been putting a lot of effort into learning now.

Teddie has also been driving me up the wall the last few days, when we picked him up from Sweden he was the quiet one in the litter, the most settled. Clearly he just hadn't found his footing at that point as he is the most vocal puppy I've owner - though its easy to forget there irritating little habits when they grow up into lovely dogs so Hollie might have been just as bad as his age thinking about it.

Don't let that cute little picture decieve you - he's hard work. We've been working super hard to socialize him here due to the lack of puppy classes in Norway / the area we live in its abit harder. We have to find friends with dogs that are good with other dogs etc. Last thing we want is him picking up bad habits when he's so young. At the moment he's met a few dogs out on his walks which thankfully he has behaved with, and he's got his little buddy Bamseh - a hyperactive very lanky border collie. Plus Bamseh's older sister a collie / staffie cross. We went for a midnight walk with Bamseh's owners last night through a woods (it was lit up ofcourse) Teddy was surprisingly immune to Bamseh going crazy trying to jump on him instead of walking nicely, I think he was trying to impress the lady dog, her name is Beauty. Everytime he walked nicely he would keep looking at her out of the corner of his eye, very cute!

So the dogs all good on very well which is the most important thing, but honestly I could have died. The hills were like mini mountains, I would actually dread walking downhill because I knew again at some point I would have to go up! I wore the thickest white jacket too plus the air was all sticky and humid was not nice at all! Everyones Norwegian seemed impossible for me to comprehend I understood some very simple bits in the dialog, like times of day or the word for relax, yes, no, stop, work, etc, VERY simple bits I was sort of disapointed as I thought I had improved in the last week but on that particular day my understanding was still just as lacking as ever, which is a bummer as the two Norwegian people we went out with, Stian's friend Dag and his girlfriend are people i HOPE to be working with if I get a job in Larvik I really want to be able to understand people a bit more so they don't have to speak another language just to instruct me to do something really simple.

I've read a couple of journals on dieting and all sorts lately plus been asked what the Norwegian cakes that I keep eating are like, the picture next to this text is them, they are little buns of evil. They have made me so fat I cannot believe it, I definately need to go back to dieting again. Its ridiculous how much weight I put on when I simply eat what I want. Plus the damn depo injection better get out of my system asap I think thats also adding to it.

I need a hobbie. now!

I thought that I had little to write about today but I'm successfully rambled on about nothingness for a while now I will spare you more ranting and stop. Hopefully my next post will be more interesting and picture heavy!

EDIT - I had to add more!

So no updates for days and then two today - I didn't want to start a whole new post for this but I took a couple of really cute pictures of teddy so I  had to upload them, also I wanted to mention a change in lifestyle that shall be starting as of right now! I've been inspired to be more active now and really put more effort into everything, work, the language. I really  have got a huge part of what I wanted now I'm in Norway I should be putting more effort into making it longterm.

"Must we do this pointless exercise.."
