Worn out!
What a stressful couple of days it's been - we all went to the V-E-T yesterday for our check-up.
Abby was very well behaved, especially as this was the first time she'd been to the vet, and I was good as ever, but Mouse wasn't happy at all - in fact he started wailing before we'd left the house!
I didn't see him do it but Mummy says Mouse hissed at the vet and even tried to bite him - no wonder the vet wants to see Mouse again in a few weeks to check his teeth! (It's actually because he's only gone one front tooth, which is probably why he sticks his tongue out so often - it falls out!)
So we all got home again safely after saying hello to some puppies.
We were just about recovered from that trying experience when Mummy's niece and nephew, Katie and Ryan, arrived.
As usual Mouse went in to hiding, and so did Abby. I don't know why - there were extra hands to pet me, so I was happy.
It was a very tiring day though, so we didn't do our usual midnight runs up and down the house ... good thing too with all those extra bodies to negotiate.
Everyone left this morning so Mouse & Abby came out of hiding. Mummy tried to bribe us with treats but we tried to resist.
Abby saw a squirrel this morning and ran from window to window as it wandered around in our garden.
That's enough typing for my little paws for now ... I'm going to join Mummy and have an afternoon nap.
