1) Pick a character that is near and dear to your heart.
2) Hit shuffle on your IPod.
3) Listen to the first ten songs.
4) Pick a lyric line from each song that describes the character.
I thought this might be a good way to get into my character's head before the game this weekend. This might be cheating, since when I sync'd my phone I only brought over the Endgame playlist, so everything that came up is pretty easy to tie in to the character. But Preacher would NEVER cheat.
Delerium - Euphoria
I feel a stirring deep within, slowly picking up momentum
Like the tide coming into shore, over and under in its course
This feeling emblazed inside, every nerve like a firefly
Hovering above me, Glow, Glow, Glowing,
Divine.
I never want to lose what I have finally found
House of Pain - Jump Around
Word to your moms, I came to drop bombs
I got more rhymes than the Bible's got psalms
And just like the Prodigal Son, I've returned
Anyone stepping to me you'll get burned
(Extra bonus)
I came to win
Battle me, that’s a sin.
Folsom Prison Blues - Johnny Cash
But I know I had it comin',
I know I can't be free
Duran Duran - Wild Boys
Wild boys fallen far from glory, reckless and so hungered
On the razor’s edge you trail because there’s murder
By the roadside in a sore afraid new world
They tried to break us, looks like they'll try again
Celldweller - Frozen
One motion of her wanting mind
The real world begins to fade
And all the hateful things I have become
Temporarily go away
Inside this fantasy
It seems so real to me
Once - Pearl Jam
Once upon a time I could CONTROL myself
Ooh, once upon a time I could LOSE myself
t.A.T.u - All the Things She Said
I'm in serious shit, I feel totally lost
Butthole Surfers - Whatever
I had a dream last night
And it fit me like a glove
Placebo - Special K
I’ll describe the way I feel
Weeping wounds that never heal
Can the savior be for real?
Or are you just my seventh seal?
Tool - Stinkfist
It’s not enough, I need more
Nothing seems to satisfy.
I said I don’t want it, I just need it
To breath, to feel, to know I’m alive
