Ashley Compagna, aged 150 years, died today, May 2nd, 2138, of old age. A resident of Bedford her entire life, she left behind a house full of cats on 54 Catesby Lane. She has no known living relatives. Most know her as Pancake, John Travolta’s loveable sidekick from the long-running television show “The Adventures of John Travolta and Pancake“, but there is much more to the life of Ashley Compagna than that. She published many books of poetry, winning the Pulitzer Prize at age 25 for her collection entitled Satanic Verse 3000. At age 30, she became the nation’s poet laureate, writing various commemorative poems, such as “9/11 Revisited” and “On the Day the Great Plains Turned to Glass.”
Rumors of small animal sacrifice plagued her career until longtime friend John Travolta approached her about co-starring in his new sitcom. Playing the awkward but loveable 13-year-old Pancake breathed new life into her public figure. After 13 seasons, however, the show came to an end, mainly because the 53-year-old Compagna could no longer play a believable teenager.
After the show was taken off the air, Compagna retreated into the seclusion of her Bedford estate. She neither wrote nor acted ever again. She left her entire estate to her 137 cats (all noted by name in her will), stating simply, “I leave my estate [to] these beautiful children of Bedford, for they are the future of our great nation.”

best wishes. good luck. have great lives.
