(no subject)
This semester:
PAINTING-Finally.
CERAMICS-Also, finally.
SCULPTURE-I get to weld!
FIGURE DRAWING-As the professor said, "A chance to take part in the oldest artistic tradition"...yeah w/e
ADVANCED WORKSHOP: ALTERNATIVE PHOTO TECHNIQUES-Hand-made negatives, Liquid Light, Double Exposure, etc. etc. etc.
This schedule has me feeling a bit apprehensive due to the fact that I have never taken this many studio classes at once, and also the time needed for assignments outside of class is quite a commitment. But I am just going to consider homework to be an unpaid (monetarily, at least) job; at 30 hrs per week, that shouldn't be too difficult. It is a good chance to get my ass in gear and quit procrastinating so much.
In the non-academics realm, some great concerts are coming this semester as well. Holla.
